The Nevada Republican Assembly is providing a suite at the Peppermill during the 2008 Convention. The location is Imperial Suite Room 1171. We are making arrangements to be available in the room beginning at 5:00pm on Friday, April 25.
There is some concern for the rules proposed for the 2008 Nevada Republican Party Convention. As a result, Mike Weber has drafted a new set of rules to comply as best possible under the current circumstances to the National Rules and the NRP Bylaws. The purpose of these proposed rules to to provide a fair and level palying field for all delegates in the Convention. We invite you to review the proposal and print at least 10 copies and bring them on Saturday.
At this time, we anticipate that at the time of the Report of the Rules Committee, Mr. Weber will make a motion to waive the reading of the Committee report, receive it and substitute the new rules proposal. The underlined text denotes corrections to the report previously forwarded to the Chairman of the Rules Committee. The rules proposals are presented in both MS Word and PDF.
